Statement from Adare Manor on the passing of previous CEO, Colm Hannon
It is with profound disappointment that we figured out of the passing of our previous CEO, Colm Hannon, on Wednesday 30th November.
Colm, a indigenous of Ballyglass, Co. Mayo, put in 26 several years functioning with the McManus family members, and held the write-up of CEO at Adare Manor from 2015 right until his retirement in April 2022. He oversaw several sizeable developments and innovations at Adare Manor, these as the specific renovation and restoration of the vacation resort in 2016 and the hotel’s thriving bid to host the Ryder Cup in 2027.
His extraordinary management and distinguished provider ended up instrumental to the thriving redevelopment of Adare Manor, and our position as a world-top resort. The total Adare Manor staff are extremely proud of his excellent contribution to the hotel and our broader neighborhood, and we are eternally grateful for his legacy of excellence.
We would like to extend our deepest sympathies to Colm’s spouse Sue, and their young children Conor, Shane and Ciara, his mom and dad John and Mary, siblings John and Caroline, mom and dad-in-law Les and Vera, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, and nephews. Our thoughts are with them and with Colm’s broader group of spouse and children and buddies.
